Rachel Roller is an artist creating artist’s books and printed matter. Her work draws on literature, poetry, and personal narratives, transforming found objects and ephemera into intimate publications. Using traditional bookmaking techniques, she integrates memory, family histories, and the overlooked details of everyday life.

For twenty years Rachel Roller’s father kept the used car dealers’ business cards left under the windscreen wiper of his Mercedes Benz, collecting them in a pile on the dashboard.

A collection of objects Rachel Roller found in her late grandmother’s hand bags, arranged and photographed on her living room table. Each bag contained the following: a pen knife, perfume bottle, a handkerchief, sugar cube, a pen, a comb, matches, cough drop, a rain hood and a purse.
